Our plan is to travel from Preston Brook to Ellesmere port, with its Canal Museum, via Chester. And then retrace our steps back to Preston Brook.
As an aside, my brother Dylan tells me that in his seafaring days in the Merchant Navy that he used to take wax to Eastham Dock there.
